Task Lighting:
Lighting designed to illuminate a certain area or provide lighting for a particular task (task lighting). Task lighting may include reading, chopping vegetables, or overhead cooking lights.
Tone: Commonly used with painting colors of a room. The lightness or darkness of a color. The tone of a room may determine your lighting selection.
Under-cabinet lighting fixtures: These light fixtures are installed under wall cabinets (Wall Units) as a form of task lighting.
Xenon bulb: A light bulb which is like the halogen light bulb, except that this bulb is filled with xenon gas vs halogen gas. An Xenon bulb does not emit ultraviolet rays. An Xenon bulb is also cooler when lighting and more energy efficient than the halogen light bulbs.
