Kitchen Contractor Understanding 2
Article: Kitchen Lesson - Stop It!

Stop second guessing yourself. Every homeowner second guesses their decisions. You are investing a lot of dollars on a new kitchen. This is natural. - Remember - You did your homework!

You took time to understand the colors you wanted for your cabinets and kitchen countertops. You took time to make a folder for each area of the kitchen design or had a good kitchen designer do this with you. Now - just because your house is a mess you are starting to second guess the kitchen design you chose, the cabinet color, the...? Stop It :!: Give it a couple days, or week or two if you have high anxiety levels - Chances Are - You will love it!

Patience is a virtue. Wait for the new kitchen to be complete. A finished new kitchen looks entirely different than one stage does broken up (Cabinets only Hung looks different than installed cabinets, caulked countertops, and fresh paint.

Plan for the new kitchen installation when you will be on vacation. Not an option? Then make sure if you are a person who hovers (A Hawk or Eagle in the sky Hovers) that your hoovering happens lightly as your kitchen contractors work on installing your new kitchen. Kitchen installation contractors would love for you to be at the North Pole when the construction is being done, and some add enough to the cost of the new kitchen cabinets to pay to place you in a hotel for a week. If you have this service from your kitchen contractor you are off to a great start! If you chose price versus premium service, give your kitchen cabinet installers some room!

Confidence in your kitchen cabinet and countertop installation crew goes a long way. Showing you appreciate the hard work by writing a short little note or Thank You card slipped onto a package of doughnuts, fresh cookies, or pop you purchased for them at the beginning of the kitchen remodeling or the new kitchen installation, and when ever there seems to be a snag the kitchen installation crew runs into will go a long ways! Contractors who know they are appreciated go out of their way to take care of the customer and seem to find ways to make that new kitchen extra special!

Good kitchen contractors will still take care of the home owner who whines, complains, and does not wait for the new kitchen to be finished before making comments. Good kitchen installers will also take care of the customer who complains and expects a refund just because he can find some small detail with the newly installed cabinets that may not be perfect. This just makes the new kitchen process miserable for everyone. Sincere appreciation sure does a lot more!

You took time to choose a good contractor.
Be understanding, appreciate them, show it, and they will take care of you!
