One popular option is choosing recessed light fixtures. Recessed (Can Lighting)is attached inside the ceiling or soffit. Recessed lighting included various modern styles of can lighting including those with adjustable and angled incandescent down-lights, shielded fluorescent tubes, and lights that high light the ceilings. Recessed fixtures require up to twice as much wattage as surface mounted suspended light fixtures. This distance minimizes the shadows on your counter-tops.
Under-cabinet Lighting
Under-cabinet lighting strips or incandescent fixtures are mounted to undersides of wall cabinets. Lighting up counter-tops in this manner works well to eliminate dark areas.
