Employee Attendance Policy for Brands Construction

Exact check in and check out time must be noted daily on your time cards.
The 3rd No Call/No Show with in one year will be considered a voluntary termination of employment. (After Loss of Job if you might still desire employment and we are willing to rehire you we may do this upon proper review and a rehire at a lower wage)
Employee No call/ No Show = Not showing up for work or calling if over 15 minutes late.
Employee No call/ No Show = Not showing up for work or calling if over 15 minutes late after lunch break.
5 — 15 minutes Late = Tardy. 3 times tardy = No Show. One Non Documented Tardiness on a time card will be considered a no show.
Tardiness will be reviewed quarterly at payroll raise time and tardiness may be dismissed at the end of March, June, September, and December.

 
No Call/No Show:
Employees who do not show up for a day of work and do not call in (No Call/No Show) is something that is not acceptable.  This affects what will happen during the work day. It also destroys trust in Brands Construction when a customer is expecting an employee to come at a certain time and they don't show up.
If an employee is guilty of No Call/No Show they will be written up. 
Types of corrective actions include, but are not limited to, corrective salary decreases, demotions, suspensions without pay, and termination of employment. 
 
 
Lateness: Under 15 minutes late will be a Tardy.
Please note ALL Lateness on your time card. Tools must be in hand and on the job site by start time.

Employees who are going to be more that 15 minutes late must call. We can be reached at any of the following numbers:
Phone Number One Phone Number Two Phone Number Three
If you are late more than 15 minutes and do not call this will be considered and written up as a NO SHOW.
You will be written up and corrective discipline will be at the discretion of the owners. (this includes being to the site after dinner break)
Exception #1 : If you have a legitimate reason and do call and are willing to work the appropriate added time to the end of day.
Exception #2: Written notice 2 weeks in advance with reason stated.
Exception #3: Medical or Family Emergency Leave with a written report.

Lateness and No call/ No shows will affect or eliminate raises and bonuses.
We need reliable employees in order for our Construction Company to compete in the construction & remodeling business.  If there might be another legitimate exceptions please call as soon as you can and let us know how we can improve this form. If there are legal aspects we should know also please let us know any way we can improve. Our Desire is to be the best we can be and have our employees be the best they can be and receive good competitive wages. This can only happen with cooperation to these terms.
