How To Paint Room??
I'm painting my room and all I decide to do it

I need to paint the trim or edge black but what do I paint the walls and what kind of stencil should I get for the trims??I

I'm 13 if u want to no

I would advise against painting your trim black. If you like black as a color, then get a black comforter, black rug or posters with black in them. You are going to spend time in here, so don't make it gloomy, make it fun. Get some turquoise throw pillows and paint your walls a LIGHT turquoise color. Your trim should be either natural wood or white and without stencils.

I agree with the other person. I do not think that black trim is a good idea because it does tend to make the room look gloomy and dark. You want a bedroom to be up lifting and happy. But, if you are set on the idea, make sure you do a bright color on the walls, to try and keep it up beat. P.S. I hear a lot of black in rooms can attract bugs. My friend had a really dark room and her room was infested don't know if its true, but thought I would share what I heard

Use a Paint Brush. I think the Painting area where I just was here on this website had some good color selection tools of painting website links.

Yeah Designers and Paint Suppliers are very helpful folk. Really admire the painters and the piant suppliers for their expert advice. We only try here. I like Benjamin Moore paints myself, Sevens paint store is also a good one.

What Paint Supply Store Do Others Use, Recommend, or Not recommend?

Paint Brands?

Re: How to Paint Room

Thought the topic here was on how to paint a room. If we are talking about paint color tools however, yeah, sherwin williams is good but benjamin moore also has a nice set up.

I'm impressed with home painters. Painting is a skill!
Leave the painting to the pros if you ask me!

I have heard of Sherwin Williams too. You must be really patient to paint your room by yourself. Did you go about painting your trim black? So how did it go? ;)
