If you are looking into having a new garage just look in your phone book.

Your local Home Improvement Lumberyard is also a great place to ask if you do not know a builder. Asking around is always a good idea also because Garage Building contractors may be large, small, etc. and your may want to find a builder with the experience and price range you are looking for.

I would like a new garage built on top of my home.

The driveway would be winding around my house with the framing supported by steel beams.

Then I could park my car in my garage and have a view over the lake. That sure would be cool around the Holidays for fireworks. When my ship comes in that is my ideal garage :!:

Sorry to those who are all serious and stuff about what is said here but I like to unwind and have some fun in these chat forum things! I'm here to learn too - so I won't be too silly.

Re: Garage Building

Local lumberyards and material suppliers are great sources of information, however they may not have the full story. Checking with references once you have your list of contractor leads is also a great way to go.
